The director Elia Suleiman lives in Nazareth in a large house. Without being asked, the neighbor takes care of Suleiman's lemon tree and helps himself to the harvest. But Suleiman wants to travel anyway to promote his new film project «It Must Be Heaven». So Suleiman travels to Paris and New York, where he observes the goings-on there wordlessly and attentively. His origins haunt him like a shadow: Wherever he goes the absurd gains the upper hand. The silent astonished observer takes up political themes about identity, nationality and homeland in a poetic way.
